Prof. Dr. Salwa Ali Solyman – Curriculum Vitae

* Dr. Salwa Solyman is an economist and a full-time lecturer in economics – Faculty of Economics & Political Science – Cairo University.

* She obtained a Bachelors of Economics from Cairo University, and both a Masters and PhD degrees in Economics from Southern California University (where she wrote a Doctorate thesis using probabilistic programming in economic planning).

* She positioned as the Head of the Economic Department, postgraduate studies and research, and Director of the Center for Economic & Financial Research Studies at Cairo University.

* Dr Solyman has published many books in specialized fields such as economic policy, principles of economy, production economics, national income, recruitment and courses..

* She has also written several articles in specialized economic studies, both theoretical and applied, which are published in both domestic and foreign journals.

* She led research teams for multiple projects in many fields including industrial economy, urban nationalization, population economics, business economics, recruitment, funding small business, economics of energy and environment.

* She has shared research results with many top administration officials including banks, financial and industrial companies, private and public organizations. Additionally, she participated in promotional committees for professors, and lecturers of the supreme council of universities.
